National Lockdown - January 2021

Following the annoucement of a new National Lockdown on the 4th January 2021, our stores have been instructed to close with immediate affect. Although we are prevented from allowing customers into our store, we continue to work behind closed doors and have staff available to deal with telephone and email enquiries. In order to minimise the risk to our staff, we are operating on a significantly reduced staffing level and we apologise if this causes any delay in responding to your enquiries.

Our delivery services are not affected by the current restrictions and will continue to operate, subject to the Covid-19 Secure rules. We will also operate a customer collection service for items that are available to purchase from stock, or if any customers would prefer to collect items that they have previously ordered, rather than having them delivered.

At the current time, we believe that all of our suppliers will remain open, so the delivery of goods should continue. We are aware however that the combination of the lockdown restrictions and the pandemic itself, may cause operational difficulties for suppliers, so it is likely that ordered goods may take longer than anticipated to be delivered to us. This will in turn have a knock-on effect on how quickly they can be delivered by us to our customers. Shortages of raw materials including foam and springs, are likely to exacerbate this situation, possibly leading to further delays. We hope to obtain further clarification on this and the likely impact on outstanding customer orders, over the coming days. We realise that whilst this is not ideal, the situation is outside of our control and we would like to thank our customers for their patience at what is a testing time for all of us.
