Delivery

Living Homes offer Free Delivery throughout Somerset, North Somerset & Bristol, subject to a minimum spend of £200.

Delivery is made using our own vehicles, with delivery staff usually working in 2 person teams. We deliver to different areas on different days of the week. We are currently unable to undertake deliveries at the weekend.

Delivery of items costing less than £200 will incur a delivery charge of £10 (£150-£199.99), £20 (£100-£149.99) or £30 (Less than £100) within the same delivery area.

If you live just outside of our free delivery area, give us a call and we may be able to arrange delivery on a chargeable basis.

Note that unless an items is described as 'Self Assembly' or 'Packaged for Home Assembly', our delivery personnel will deliver the item to the room of your choice. If you require, the item will be unwrapped, assembled and placed into position, with all packaging material removed. Note that Self Assembly items can only be assembled by prior arrangement. There will be a charge levied for this service.

We are usually able to remove and dispose of an old item on a like-for-like basis. This can only occur if arranged prior to delivery. There will be a charge levied for this service.

Returns

Faulty Goods

Please check your purchase at the earliest opportunity and at the latest, within 48 hours following delivery. If you notice an issue with the product, please contact us, providing full details of the purchase (Your name, address, contact details, order number, manufacturer, model name/number) and the nature of the issue. We will advise you how we intend to resolve the issue. Your statutory rights will not be affected.

Non-Faulty Goods

In-Store Purchases

Items purchased in-store can only be returned at the discretion of Living Homes. Return will only be accepted if the item is unused, in it's original condition and in it's original packaging. A re-stocking charge will be applied in order to cover transportation costs and to enable the returned item to be sold at a reduced price. The figure will depend on the saleability of the item, but in any case will be a minimum of 20% of the original purchase price. Collections will be arranged at a time convenient to ourselves and the item must be made available at the earliest opportunity. Note that we reserve the right to refuse the return of an item if it is not in the same condition as when first supplied. In addition we will not accept the return of any items that have come into contact with animals or have been in a location whose occupants smoke. 

Online/Telephone Purchases

Items purchased in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 may be cancelled within 14 days of the day on which the product was delivered/collected from us. Cancellation must be made in writing by either email or letter, with notification received by us within the 14 day period. You have a responsibility to take good care of the product whilst it is in your possession and to return it to us at your expense. If you require us to collect the item, we will do so at a time convenient to ourselves. You will be advised of the charge if you require us to undertake the collection. Once the item is back in our possession, it will be checked and providing everything is in order, a refund will be issued. We will always refund in the same way that the original purchase was made. If this was done using a credit or debit card, we will always refund back onto the same card.

Note that you are not permitted to use the item (or assemble it if a self assembly item) if you wish to return it. It must be returned in it's original packaging and packaged so as to prevent transit damage. A refund will be refused if the item received is damaged, or shows signs of use. We also reserve the right to reduce the amount of the refund to cover missing items/parts.

Due to hygiene issues, we are unable to accept the return of items of bedding (including beds, mattresses, mattress protectors, pillows etc) once it's original packaging has been opened. We are also unable to accept the return of bespoke items that are made to order. This includes sofas, chairs, divan beds and selected furniture ranges with customer specified finishes.

Note that the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply if you have made enquiries about a product in-store, even if you chose to conduct the final purchase online or by telephone.
